Welcome to the physical side of digital democracy.
If you’re reading this, you’re likely holding a Senatai mug. Maybe you bought it to support the project, or maybe you saw it on a coworker's desk and wondered what a "Policap" is.
Either way, you’ve just taken the first step in moving from a spectator of democracy to a builder of it.
What is Senatai?
I’m Dan, a carpenter from Kenora, Ontario. I started Senatai because the systems we use to govern ourselves aren't good enough for my kids. Right now, our "voice" is just data for big tech companies to sell.
Senatai is different. We are building the infrastructure—both the digital apps and the physical "Ground Ops" hubs—to give people real financial and political leverage.
- Quantified Voice: We use predictive surveys to show exactly where the public stands on real legislation.
- Member Owned: We are a cooperative. The data we generate is owned by us, and the profits go back to the members as dividends.
- Civic Labor: Your participation earns you Policaps, a way to measure your contribution to the collective wisdom of the community.
Why the Mug?
We believe democracy needs a physical presence. It shouldn't just live on a server in Silicon Valley; it should live in our kitchens, our community centers, and our workshops. This mug is a "Ground Ops" pilot—a way to make the project visible in the real world while we work on our permanent community hubs.
Get on the Waitlist
We are currently in the "onboarding" phase. We’re finalizing our store, updating our software, and building the initial list of Senatairs who will help us launch the first wave of surveys.
If you want to be part of the first group to earn Policaps and help us build this infrastructure, we want to hear from you.
How to join:
Send a quick email to survey@senatai.ca.
Just let us know you scanned the mug and want to be on the waitlist. Our onboarding team will reach out shortly with the next steps, including how to set up your profile and how you can get more involved in your local area.
Thanks for being here. Let's build something better.
