What and why?

Senatai tackles barriers to civic engagement with decentralized tools augmented with predictive systems. Its designed for everyone to access and vote directly on laws, report issues, and shape democracy by creating a rich database and selling it so we can buy bonds and use the same levers of influence as billionares do.

  • AI systems are stripping our sovereignty
  • Traditional systems only record the votes of a few policy makers
  • Political capital is a subjective term
  • Senatai Enhances your opinion's impact
  • Senatai records the votes of anyone who cares to use it.
  • Senatai rewards your engagement with Political capital keys, or Policaps. A quantifiable measure of political engagement

Why we are building Senatai?

Reliability
Traditional polling surveys a few people about a few topics, and generalizes their answers across demographics. We aim to survey anyone who uses our service as often as they're willing to answer questions, and use their answers to generalize predictions about how they might vote on any law. we dont use Bob's answers to guess what George might think, we try to guess what Bob might think about everything else, and we let him vet our guesses.
Get involved!
Any official Lawmaking body only has a few members at a time, compared to the nations they govern. Corporate or foreign interests only need to sway a few members part of the time in order to get their interests served. These lawmakers only have so much time anyway- they have to keep up with tens of thousands of words in each of the hundreds of bills they're expected to vote on, while they're balancing media and re-election, and committees and meetings and personal lives- its a wonder we've made it this far. If we had a way to record our votes on laws, just like parliamentarians or senators do, we could crowdsource more brainpower to help refine our decision making process. Our survey app uses the text of each law to generate questions that we ask users. We use many sources and methods to make these questions, so we don't have one overarching bias in our sample set. users answer as many questions they want, about whatever's on their mind. Traditional surveys only ask a few people about a few issues at a time, like a snapshot.
